Can I buy protoboard, resistors, IC chips, microcontrollers, relays, TFT displays, sensors, power supplies, OpAmps, capacitors, super capacitors, wire, solder and oscilloscopes?

Microcenter has all that stuff. Come on man!

At least I'm not asking them to carry HF/UHF transceivers like Lafayette.

Seriously, no retail electronics store can compete with Temu and AliExpress. That shit is cheap!

I remember reading that somewhere but it looks like they just went out of business with a whimper, kind of like Olson did.

I was just getting into the stuff when they all went away. Kind of sad I never got to see those stores. I've got some olson stuff sitting on the test bench here.
