I remember reading that somewhere but it looks like they just went out of business with a whimper, kind of like Olson did.
I was just getting into the stuff when they all went away. Kind of sad I never got to see those stores. I've got some olson stuff sitting on the test bench here.
I remember Lafayette sold a lot of Ham radio gear. A lot of that still shows up at ham fest.
Yes, I do see a lot of that at shows, but not as much as before. Stuff is just getting old, like the W-J boxes. That stuff used to be everywhere, I think I maybe say 4 pieces at Dayton last year.
Used to see their cheap Japanese test equipment (shared with the Olson junk) a lot, but even that's gone.
