Ford plans to halt production of the F-150 Lightning from mid-November until early January to address high inventories and narrow losses. The shutdown will last from Nov. 18 until Jan. 6, including previously planned holiday downtime at the end of the year. Ford on Monday said its Model e electric vehicle operations are expected to lose about $5 billion this year.
