Oh, the reality of unintended consequences. The real minimum wage is $0.00...

Beep Boop...can I take your order, Huuuuu-man?

Yes.

Please make one chicken burrito. Add peppers and onions. Add sour cream. Roll it up really tight. Shove that nasty tasting crap up your rear-facing serial output port.

This is the obvious outcome. Make hiring people cost so much it is actually worth having a company design equipment to do the job instead.

Now you can just have a service contract to keep the machine(s) running and maybe hire 1-2 people to make sure the ingredients don't run out (that is, until they too are replaced by robots).

On top of it all, the company will save money too since the robots can do exact portions every single time so you don't have people giving extra toppings to friends/family or just for the hell of it.

Doesn't say the location, if you were wondering.
