From a technical standpoint they have no case against Microsoft. I’m no fan of theirs, but they didn’t drop the ball on this one.
CrowdStrike is with nonsense and their contract which only makes them liable for under $10 million. The contract seems to have them covered. Maybe the nonsense is for PR reasons.
I agree 169%. Which is why I believe there is some funny business going on. I cannot believe Delta is mismanaged to the level of losing $500 million after hitting a bump in the road.
Their internal systems are so fucked over that the last time I flew Delta (the flight and crew was great, btw) they couldn't figure out why their computer systems were prepending the airport code to my email.
Only found out about it when I took a look at the spam log and saw two days worth of rejected email from delta.
