They must be expecting another major bug to be discovered and revealed.

Didn't you mean stakeholders?

Looks like Intel is doing the same thing Boeing did: get rid of talented white engineers and moving to a maintenance mode where niggers and trannies can do the work. They won't be engineering any more new designs, just rebadging old designs.
