Moat likely this will result in multiple airlines colluding. Specifically when a destination has bad weather that disrupts most flights to it, all the airlines will cancel your flight and issue an automatic refund. Then they will all take the crews who are already waiting at the airport, file new flights for after the disruption and charge 2 to 3 times the price of your initial seat. Since they will all do this together, and they already refunded you, they win and the banks win, but you the consumer lose. Check back on this in six months to see how I did.
