They announced Monday that they’ll be closing the plant in June, shocking the entire town. 1200 people, 15% of the entire town, works at the plant. They’re all going to be unemployed now.

Simultaneously, Tyson is also working with an Asylum advocate group to hire 2,500 asylum seekers who are cleared to work. They’ll make $16.50/hr and get benefits.

Everyone needs to boycott this company into oblivion!

Fuck them and their bug meat.

That's what I came here to say, in other states they are hiring illegals by the thousands.

I underdtand what people are complaining about, but this has been occurring since before California was a state. When they were building the railroads and industrializing San Fransicso, instead of hiring white/Irish workers (who wanted the work) at a fair wage companies would hire Chinese workers who were showing up by the boatload daily at 1/3 of the price. They'd get labor at 3-for-1 and have an endless supply.

Boycott? Haha! Things are so far past that.

It's time to start finding and "dealing" with Tyson Foods employees.

Where do they live? Are they married? Do they have children? Where are the spouses and children during the day?

People need to pay with ... corporeal substance.

It's likely only a few top brass that are making these choices.

maybe we can talk the smaller people who have contact with the top brass into changing the minds of the top brass. use your imagination on how one might convince them

I'm guessing it is a bit more than a strongly worded letter.

That should make it even easier to accomplish the facts on the ground then ...

Hold up.....

Tyson foods (which supplies most fast food in america btw) went around firing people during covid because of the vax. They were so cruel in fact that Robert Barnes made it his personal mission to get justice for the tyson foods employees. He and Viva were talking about the insane tyson foods situation for years now. YouTube link (youtube.com)

After the vax victims have finally gotten back on their feet. Tyson foods has decided to hire undocumented employees. I think we deserve to see the vaccination records for every single one of these illegal aliens.

Also, isn't it dangerous to have people who cannot pass a standard background check handling food ? A terrorist could get into that plant and kill the meat eating customers at a variety of fast food establishments very quickly.

Came here to say that.

An early life check on these corporate rats would be antisemitic.

I have met many of the top executives for Tyson. They live in Northbrook, Illinois. Rats indeed.
