User metadata as well. Since the API changes most third-party clients no longer function, so most people just went to the official Reddit app. Since their requested permissions are so broad they could scrape the following:

  • Location and active times
  • Camera footage, including eye tracking for identifying interest
  • Audio recordings
  • Web browsing history
  • Local files
  • All user IDs on the phone

Are they doing this? It's certainly possible, especially considering the length of TOS agreements nowadays. I have no evidence to confirm this though.
