User metadata as well. Since the API changes most third-party clients no longer function, so most people just went to the official Reddit app. Since their requested permissions are so broad they could scrape the following:
- Location and active times
- Camera footage, including eye tracking for identifying interest
- Audio recordings
- Web browsing history
- Local files
- All user IDs on the phone
Are they doing this? It's certainly possible, especially considering the length of TOS agreements nowadays. I have no evidence to confirm this though.
