Ev's are NOT the way to go, anyone who travels more than 50 miles from home , tows, lives in too hot or two cold of a place, etc. The electric grid, thanks to importing every shitskin in the world, can't handle any additional load. Electricity has to come from somewhere and the green energy is a nice 20% supplement, nothing more.
Setting up a vehicle to accept external power and generate on board power IS the way to go for this, though you could really just save a lot of slave kids lives and your own personal time by going diesel.
