Three years? Let's estimate, $329/day ($360K for three years or $10,000 month cabin rent ) plus what? Automatically added gratuities to clean the cabin per day - $20 x 1095 days = $21,900 gratuities getting a $381,900 grand total for the 3 years assuming you don't want to buy anything else extra from the bar (like alcohol and tip the bar or eat at a restaurant on board or at ports), and just do your daily meals at the 'no extra cost' restaurants and buffet.

If someone thinks they can afford $10,000 month cabin rent for 3 years, then I'd assume that they sold a 2nd home and not their main residential property.

I don't think you have enough experience with boomers if you think they would have a plan with a safety net in place and not simply jump into a risky deal like this. They do similar stupid things like this with less benefit such as selling their only residence and buying an RV to live the nomadic life of trailer park life.

Yes, I'm sure they sold their primary/sole residences to finance this scam.
