Anyone stupid enough to buy an EV after this price cut measure is just asking to have a bad time. If EVs go bust over the next few years, when it comes time to replace your EV's battery, they won't be new ones available or the short supply will be outrageously priced. Someone who is still underwater on their car loan who needs to shell out $30K for a battery replacement will be getting totally kiked, yet again. Don't buy this jewed up electronic leash that will keep you from going outside of the 15 minute cities.

Im fucking tired of my taxes being used to subsidize the cost of EV's for people that in many cases may be able to just buy them in cash. They are over priced to begin with, they cost a shit load to "fuel" depending on where you live and in heat or cold the battery has decreased range.

Its a interesting idea but we still do not have good enough battery tech to make it work and no grid in the world is designed with EV's in mind and every grid in the US would collapse if even 20% adopt electric only vehicles.

They burn up, the mileage is really about 50% of what they say, they Burn up, the battery cost about $33,000 and a two year wait, did i mention they Burn up? I would not pay $100 for an EV that is less dependable than a golf cart.
