aren't really anything special. I bet they want people that are 100% qualified as well, and won't train anymore.

That's the problem in a nutshell.

I get calls all the time for very skilled jobs, but when we get to the pay portion they're offering what Harbor Freight pays for a shift manager role. "I can only offer you $19 for this engineering position that we need your 10 years of RF skills for!"

Not knocking on HF, the people in the local stores here seem to generally be able to help you with your questions in a timely manner.
