It was a campaign, by definition. Perhaps not as big of one as compared to the shit they’re running right now in an effort to dig themselves out of this grave. But a campaign, nonetheless.
Also, it doesn’t matter what language he chooses to use to describe it. If anything, it just shows more of his elitism, by trying to “correct” people who take issue with his company’s choices.
It’s like when liberals try to refer to illegal immigration offenders as “undocumented immigrants.” Changing the language is just misdirection intended to take the focus off of the actual offense committed.
