This isn't wrong, he's just ignoring the reason WHY the banks started loaning out sub prime mortgages.

The Bush administration was pushing a bullshit "everyone deserves a house" program and they basically went up to eh banks and strong-armed them into giving out sub prime mirtgages.

What the banks did after that is bad, don't get me wrong they're also to blame, but the instigator was the government.
