My wife is her own person, she stays in contact with a few of her old friends from years ago that way. I like my wife to have her own brain and actually make her own decisions, she knows all of my views and agrees with most of them. She does not have a huge circle of friends and most people of our age are generally on such things and don't want to move.

Strangely I want my wife to be happy, we pull in the same direction but she has the need for some people outside of her life apart from myself and her children, she's sensible and has her own brain.

Wind your neck in, i enjoy having a wife that has the capacity to think and stand up for herself when she needs to. You will perhaps note that I didn't say she involved herself in the constant drama(which she doesn't, she finds it funny), my wife now watches 3 things on TV(I haven't watched any since 2011 or so), she notices all the shit going on with adverts and niggers, pakis , mixed race etc etc.

I am happy with her as she is, she is very far down the road when compared to your average robot. More to the point, she is happy with who she is.

Her little pleasures in life are fine by me.

Your may enjoy controlling your wife, that's on you.
