There are plenty of streaming specialty stations for free if you have a data plan on your phone. When I'm travelling, I usually put on one of SomaFM's stations.
I've used Pandora since they opened also. I have all my stations tailored for my tastes, and know how the algorithm works. I don't mind paying for it. I'm too much of a fud-boomer to fiddle fuck with the new music stuff
I would imagine a boomer being more attracted to the simplicity of satellite radio rather than a algorithm controlled smartphone application.
