It's thought, in part, due to the massive slowdown in car sales. Satellite Radio is often a feature on new cars.

I can't see how they'd have that many people to lay off, it's not like the technology is any different or they're creating lots of new programming. Most of it is already available feeds or other garbage.

I pay for XM. The rock stations are fucking great. And I have music where I don't have cell service.
