2.Dollar General pays shit wages to what employees they do actually have. Doesn't hire unless they have to.
- As a result of the overwork, price changes don't happen because the employees actually working have other critical things to do first, and there's nobody available to work.
It's a continuous cycle of "we get profits, but fail the details just enough not to close"
