The article doesn't really say what the people are doing, just that they're on a four-day week. Some bean counter will eventually want more and things will change.
Might not with a bank. Most of the people who go in for loans are older. The younger audience likes to just do stuff online. People are already used to them having weird hours too.
The bank is online only, so only the back-office people would have the luxury of working a 4 day week. IT, support, and customer service probably don't get that opportunity.
