Market in general. People don’t care if there is money to be made.

I was at the park recently; it was no different than any time I’ve been in the past.

Thank you for the clarification. Stories as the one in the OP do much to dilute and distract. The movie really didn't get advertised much at all. People pointing to it and saying "ah ha!, look!" doesn't do shit.

Exactly. We are every bit the echo chamber here that Reddit is. People start thinking that how we view the world is how many others do; that’s not the case. People are too dumb, too caught up in the bullshit of life to notice.

Very well put but there really is a fringe mindset with places like poal. Poal, old voat, /pol/, newfag voat...etc wouldn't exist if that was not the case. The echo chambers exist, and I believe, due to people not having a firm grasp of who they really are, where they came from and where they're heading (or being pushed) towards.

It's a messed up world that continues to get even more screwy by the day so I can't blame anyone for wanting to bury their head in the sand. In all of the bs of today, I still see a glimmer of hope.
