Regardless of how Amazon is performing economically, I've noticed it's just not the same company it was a few years ago. The selection of items is much smaller, and service is spotty. Prices are higher. There don't seem to be any real sales anymore. There used to be a ton of sales with 60%, 70%, 80% off items, but I'm not seeing this nearly as much. And half the items are not even available! They show up, but you can't order them.
