I've never understood that....why the cross ? The most overt notion is that it's burning christianity...is there anything else ?
Some cults burn to purify, some use it because they beleive it to be some kind of doorway/portal. I've only ever heard that it was used to try and scare niggers out of good neighborhoods...not sure why that would be though.
I guess I"m just most curious as to why this symbol (not a 6 pointed star or letters spelling out something) perhaps ease.. or literacy.
Why not set the fucking house ablaze ? Why the symbols....seems to me that any "message" gets lost when it's not direct. It's more inferring someone do something because someone else's feelings are hurt....instead of a direct act to rid someone of something dangerous and unwanted.
Which is why I've always been convinced that jews set up these groups ... kkk, neo-nazi, ira, etc

I honestly have no idea. I was pretty young, and a friend of the family was a local cop and had heard about it, so we drove over to check it out. At the time, the Klan and biker gangs were the only thing keeping the Bloods and Crips out of that part of the state.
The history of the Klan is really interesting. The KKK was one of a number of similar vigilante organizations which formed after the War of Northern Aggression in order to bring law and order back to areas where society had almost completely broken down due to the masses of unskilled negroes who suddenly had nothing to do or eat. They also acted as a regional political force acting against the Northern occupation.
The second Klan was something different and really ended up as a political machine and social club.
The third Klan has essentially been an arm of the domestic intelligence services, at least since the 1960's. Fun fact: the bombings and killings in the 60's were all carried out by one guy, who happened to be an FBI agent. He was never punished, but the people who assisted were.
