Sometimes it’s hard to cook for a large family after a long day with challenging young ones. Then if you do cook, lots of dishes…or maybe the dishes are all still in the dishwasher because somebody forgot to run it. Or you only have a short amount of time to get the kids wrangled to do homework before dragging one off to soccer practice.
The list goes on. Yeah, proper prep will fix almost all of that, but prepping everything all the time with the handful kiddo(s) isn’t always possible….
I got gifted a Ninja air fryer some years ago. I don't even air fry stuff in it.
I use it to grill lots of meat very quickly. It's super easy to do.
Turn Ninja on, set it to cook. Cut meat into manageable chunks, pat dry and stick in large bowl. Put some oil and spices in there and mix. Ninja beeps for food input, dump meat into ninja.
Do something else until ready. It's even better if you have a rice cooker with a steam tray. Start the rice (with veggies in the tray) first, make the meat. You could cook for an entire family in 30min once you get it down.
Make the kids do the damn dishes. Yeah, theyll whine, tough shit.
They wash and put our dishes away. I don’t let them touch my cast iron. Not yet. Or pots. I paid some money for good pots, and I want them cleaned correctly.
I want some good cast iron shit, but i have a gay ass glass stovetop, which i dont think would jive with cast iron pans. I need to buy a new stove, but every time i think about spending money on that kinda shit... new stove, dishwasher.... i think of some gun or scope or suppressor or some shit that would be way more awesome to buy than a new kitchen appliance.
