All about 100 years old…. Part of it for me is the fact that they cook so well, but the other part is that they are old school American…. Back before we sold ourselves out to cheap, disposable China made shit.

I feel like i should buy good cast iron shit now, being as how i can use it cooking on my wood stove during a power outage, or over a fire pit while away from home, and just assume someday ill grow up nough to funel money into remodeling my kitchen. At which point i could use it in my every day cooking

All of mine are garage sale finds out or Antique store finds. They were often in pretty rough shape, but elbow grease and time brought them back to life.

Personally, I’m a fan of griswold; they were the gold standard back in the day.

Garage sales here suck. Everybody s poor. Estate sales suck too. I went to an estate salle right as it opened, and there was a gun cabinet with a bunch of bullshit in it like random sections of cleaning rods and brushes, a few half empty boxes of ammo. I said i see the gun cabibet, so where are the guns? Answer: oh the family kept the guns, but you can make an offer on the rest of the suff. Dumb cunt. If the family keeps the good shit, and sells the leftover crap, its not an estate sale, its a garage sale
