Yeah, can't complain about that, unfortunately I manage networks for a lot of locations that are still forced to use their DSL services, that's why I have a bad experience with them, but that shit is ancient, even Verizon's still existing DSL is god awful and unreliable.
Ugh yeah DSL is cancer. Really I just got lucky with my connection. I know plenty of folks with way shittier AT&T connections of both cable and DSL varieties.
Actually when I moved into my house and tried the connection out I was like "Sweet 1gbit download." Then the upload happened and mfw (c.tenor.com)
I bought a house and was only able to get 10mb Centurylink DSL. mfw (media.giphy.com).
I could not use Xfaggotry at the time because they were on my Register of Most Hated Corporations. They still are, actually, and I had to arrange a formal exception so long as transactions are under protest and are limited to the minimum necessary value with an MHC registrant. I have policies.
Yeah I wanted to move to some place really remote but the lack of internet options stopped me, so I'm just in the 'burbs now. Starlink might change that though it would be a real blow giving up the 1gbit synchronous for some crummy 40mbit down/15mbit up.
