The easy solution here is to pirate. Pirating is still the best user experience by far. I download a video to my HDD, then I stream it to all of my devices via Plex from anywhere in the world. It doesn't even have to be a movie, it can be my own home movies or random videos from the internet. Plex doesn't give a fuck what you stream.

These companies want me to buy from them, and then download a video on their app only. Fuck off. If I own it, give it to me on my computer in an mp4, avi, or mkv file.
