won't happen for a long time. greedy dirtbag studios will make more money from premier streaming fees. Once te theaters file for bk, maybe some studios will buy up a few for pennies on the dollar

Going to the movies used to be great. Now it’s kinda pointless with home theaters being so affordable. I have an inexpensive 44” hdtv with a Pioneer thx surround sound system that I got for free from my friend who was upgrading his setup. I’d rather vedge out on the couch than sit in a crappy theater seat.
The only movie coming out that I wanna see is the next Dune and that’s been pushed back to next year.

I know. Used to love going to the movies when I was a kid, it was a real treat. Now, I go to a friend's place, we put what we want on the 55" screen and order pizza and whatever else. No chatty cathy behind me that can't get off their phone, no kids screaming, no nasty smells, and if we want to stop it to see a part again or look up some reference or take a leak, we do.
