That sucks but if I'm being honest restaurants are pretty bad regarding job security even without a pandemic. Many fail. Oh you got a couple raises as a bartender? We're letting you go as we can pay someone less w/ more experience? Work in a gay bar? Oh you aint gay enough or bringing in dem twinks these days. Restaurants should only be what you do as a filler job perhaps w/ the exception of general manager but only in optimal conditions.
Ruby Tuesday has been failing for a long time. The manufactured disease panic just put them over the cliff.
