The issue is mute. Most Americans 40 and under don't watch broadcast/cable television, read newspapers, or magazines. Most who use computers use adblock and various methods to filter out unwanted marketing and advertisements. I've so well isolated myself from advertising and marketing that the only reason I'm even aware of them is when someone decided to have a psychotic fit and share one they saw.
