Why buy a GM car these days? Aside from the inflated pricetags for all the heavy regulated bullshit inside that is costly to repair anyways...

You can't get parts! Because all the Tier 1 parts manufacturers, mostly nonunion, had to shut down or slow down production since GM wasn't ordering parts because of the strike. And the Tier 2 parts manufacturers who had to do the same because of the Tier 1 response. And so forth.

So what you bought can't even be repaired by your dealer, even if it was in warranty!

Fuck this gay system. Buy used like I always have, at least 10 years old to escape the OEM grip.

I was union. It blew my mind my co workers always wanted to fuck the company over. If the company folds because of our actions then we don't have a job. Honestly most of the white union brothers understood this. We banded together to not get fucked over but also to not fuck over the company to. The blacks though just wanted a check. Im glad I left the railroad it's way worse now

Unions were nice and filled a role back when we had protectionist trade policies. Now we are all global competitors and having unions is a hindrance.

I love my Chevy, but at this point, Honda and Toyota are more American made.

I have a relative that works at a GM dealer and I get parts at cost and work cheap, so that is the only thing that might keep me GM, but idk I'm not feeling the loyalty anymore.
