I am about to start a post-apocalyptic booked called Black Autumn. I read fiction and non-fiction alike, whatever I am in the mood for. I have about 200 books on hand that I have not read yet. I like the look of books on bookshelves. I think I would have them even if I didn't like to read.

It's a crying shame what Amazon did.

One of the worst adaptations of a book I've ever seen, if not the worst.

The crazy thing is the book already has a strong female empowerment slant from the get go and is filled with diversity. They had no reason to do what they did aside from sheer retardation.

Multiple races. Multiple strong females. The story starts out in a small village where only one person is really very different, and you can't have that!

It's just odd to me that they would take a series with over 12 books and its own reference book and think they could make it more appealing by bastardizing it.

The most egregious part is that it is in a series format, not a feature length film format, so there is no reason to leave stuff out or shorten things.

They could have milked it for 12 seasons but had to shit in the pot instead.
