I never put in the bottle and when I get it on draft I just drop it into the glass. Am I supposed to do something with it?

Me either but I like it. I tell myself that if I eat the orange slice the vitamin C will counteract the effects of the alcohol I tell myself lots of things like that

Skip the orange and try yourself some Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier. If you can find it Goggle Fogger by Fat Heads is exceptional as well.

I've seen that in my area. I'll try it.

Nice. Those are my two favorite wheats.

The guy who created it (before he sold out) thought it tasted better with a slice of orange instead of lemon, which was what was being done with other wheat / white / whit beers in the late 80s.

TL;DR: Marketing

Also, Corona beer was served with a lime wedge to keep flies out of the bottle, as other Mexican beers were.

Didn't know that was the purpose of the lime.

It’s fucking delicious. In a frosted glass. Eat it. Leave it on rim while you drink.

I usually just eat it.

Like putting a lime in a mexican beer. Give it a slight squeeze to free the juice and put it in the bottle.

i enjoy a lime with my modelo or corona, although it is not necessary. that’s about all i’ll concede for fruit with beer.

To throw away along with the beer. Personally I can't stand blue moon.

It has citris in the beer, so the orange accentuates it.
