This is what happens when you let jews infiltrate architecture.

Was the original structure demolished? Why? Architectural art like that should be preserved basically at all costs, unless a fire or some other natural disaster utterly destroys it.

Edit: it was mostly demolished in 1939 to "make room for a convention center".. what a travesty.. anyone involved in the demolition probably should have been hanged.

I'm typically the type to be in favor of fuction and utility over form, but historical and ornate works is where I draw a line.
