I have said this for a VERY long time. One of the easiest ways to notice it is in the TV shows of the 60's and 70's. When you watch lets say Adam 12 for example. You watch the driving scenes behind the actors and you see stores, gas stations, restaurants etc all with their their own look, feel and personality. Go down those same roads today and see how fucking soulless it all looks
