Almost the entire Neumarkt has been rebuilt. Many individual buildings are also being rebuilt one by one. Part of the city on the other side of the river Elbe, Neustadt - is also currently in plans to be renewed in old traditional form and structure. Finally Dresden Castle is being in center of one of the largest reconstruction projects in Germany’s history, it is ongoing and will be for some time. Of course it is only a relatively small part of the pre-war Old Town - about 5% in total.
