Funnily enough, it's a mixture between 16th ce Ottoman engineering and since the mid-90s rebuilt with Western design and engineering influence after regional, cultural and religious wars in the Balkans. It's an East meets west contemporary design, I just like it because it's unique where you have a melding of different design philosophies.
