Cant say I'm an avid 'hockey fan' or a sports fan in any stretch, but from what hockey I have watched over the past X some odd years, I have never seen anyone throw a leg up like that - like a sidekick, especially knowing the footwear involved, one would expect the player to be cognizant of that fact.
