I watched a lot of shows this season and enjoyed all of them except for Higurashi, which I dropped and the second half of Kamisama ni Natta Hi. My watchlist was as follows: Kamisama ni Natta Hi Golden Kamuy Season 3 Majo no Tabitabi Maoujou de Oyasumi Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou (dropped after 7 episodes) Tonikaku Kawaii Tonikaku Kawaii got my highest score on MAL, which was a 10, but while I enjoyed it a lot that 10 was mostly because it was the kind of marriage propaganda that people need these days. Especially Whites and Japanese. Golden Kamuy was another amazing anime that also got a 10 from me, but I don't count continuations as AOTS contenders. For me that leaves Maoujou de Oyasumi and Kuma Bear as my top 2 of the season, with Maoujou de Oyasumi being the winner due to the hilarity of the show. Kamisama ni Natta Hi was shit. Worst anime of the season from my watchlist even if I did complete it. It was made by the guy who made Angel Beats and apparently he's a big deal even though Angel Beats was only an 8 at best and everything else he's made was shit. I didn't have high expectations for Kamisama and I was still disappointed. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I'm going to start Jujutsu Kaisen tonight since two of the girls from my favorite band (SCANDAL) seem to really love it. I better not be disappointed by an anime liked by Mamitasu and Rina-chan.
