Malwarebytes does not like that website. Use Pic8, poals organic image host

I'm using various image hosts, so when one goes inevitably down, not everything I uploaded goes down with it.

Antivirus thingies always dislike sites that people can upload whatever to, since whatever can be a virus. It's pretty stupid to flag the entire domain over this, though. Doesn't instill confidence into the particular antivirus method.

How would you spread malware over an jpg anyway? And if you could, how would using a different host make a difference?

Don't know about virus spreading, just letting you know I got a warning about that site.

That's usually how upload sites get flagged. One can also probably file a report to unflag it again, but why bother, it's just going to get flagged again down the line. This unreliable nature is why I stopped using antivirus software altogether. More pain than gain.

I've only used one supposedly 'trusted' upload site in the past and after a few years it went down. I learned from that. Over the years, dozens of these sites have went down, so I'm not going to use one of them exclusively again. Or at least I try to spread it out a bit.
