The only way to "win" is to not play. Sit at the border. The the Kobayashi to abandon ship and direct all pods on your location. If the Klingons fire on them, there's nothing you can do. But when they're in transporter range, you get them out. WHatever you do, you do not enter the neutral zone. That's what the Klingons want.

If the Klingons shoot then they will be in violation of the neutral zone and firing on civilian ships (albeit commandeered) and the shuttles can turn back. minimal loss of life
