I agree that is the main target after a shooting. Secondly, silencers should be referred to as suppressors. To me, it is a more apt description.

Yeah it's too bad common sense has nothing to do with it.
Guns are becoming regulated to the point of being useless. The day of the laser is upon is. Hook it up to a facial recognition algorithm and tell it to go for the eyes. Just kidding, that would violate international treaties and I would never encourage that kind of thing.
