Definitely is.
I've served on four juries so far - once as foreman - and haven't yet had to nullify a verdict. I'm one of those nerds who doesn't try to get out of serving and I get called at least once a year.
I have wanted to serve on a jury but I have never been called to do so. I hope nullification is not needed in the future. But with increasing polarization, I think it will become more main stream.
Nullification will always be needed as long as those in power think they know better than those not in power.
You're doing God's work.
