How many of these people who get access for free would have actually bought the service? I'd be willing to bet its probably less than half. Many of them would probably have turned to piracy or even just not consumed the media if the option for free access was taken away. This may just be my biased opinion but I'd bet that their estimated lost revenue from this is far far lower than what they think.
With mega and Pirate Bay and a few others, you are probably right
I can't seem to understand why media companies don't factor this in when considering lost sales.
