>A pair of brothers from Quito, Ecuador, who were wanted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and caught with nearly 75 pounds of illegal drugs while speeding through Wyoming, will spend more than two years in federal prison before being deported. The sentencing of the second of the brothers, 23-year-old Edgar Narvaez Vega, was announced by the U.S. District Court for Wyoming on Tuesday. Under a plea agreement, he was sentenced Feb. 9 to 27 months in a federal prison instead of the maximum 10-year sentence he could’ve received if convicted at trial of possession with intent to distribute meth, fentanyl, cocaine, and heroin.
