Yeah, no shit. Recalling someone in office that the citizens don't feel like is doing their fucking job IS POLITICAL.
Wyoming lawmakers on Wednesday advanced a bill to let voters recall mayors and other local officials as there is no mechanism in place now. Supporters cite accountability, while critics worry about and politicized recalls.

Wow. Home rule in Texas and maybe even the Texas constitution allows for it and the process is outlined. I remember helping in a recall years ago.
