That’s the indication of a proposed bill unveiled Thursday on the Wyoming Legislature’s website by primary sponsor Rep. Julie Jarvis. Mike Vang, a Laramie-based defense attorney who specializes in DUI cases, said he found the maneuver interesting and funny. Johnson County’s top prosecutor said he was curious to know what prompted the legislation, since neither he nor the two deputy attorneys then standing in his office — with nearly 50 years’ experience between them — had never charged anyone for drunkenly riding a horse.
So I can still be charged for being drunk while riding a tiger?

Well I know I wouldn't want to be the officer to tell them to get off the tiger.
Stupidity. The law was created for operation of a motorized vehicle. Horse ain’t that.
A proper horse is well trained to follow the queues from the rider. A bad rider can get a well trained horse into a bad position. You can get a DUI on a bike too btw. I think that is true in most states if not all.
Just because the horse is their own animal/existence does not mean they are not under control of a idiot rider.
Every DUI law I’ve ever read is for motorized vehicle. Like scooters have motors. Bikes don’t.
Numerous cases of on horse and bike in Texas have been thrown out, zealot cops tried.
