City people should stay in the cities. We don't want them.

From the post:

>Thousands of people have been charmed by a video of a “performing bison” in Yellowstone National Park that appeared to be prancing around and hopping out of playfulness. For bison biologists, the Friday video has less charm and more charge to it. To them, the sight signaled an animal building up for an attack, a turn that could have been tragic for the tourists leaning into the animal with their smartphones. The video titled “He came to perform for tourists” and posted by Jake Slater, shows a crowd of tourists watching the bison from a Yellowstone boardwalk. The bison sprints past the wooden boardwalk, then starts hopping and vigorously shaking its head.

Yellowstone’s bison are wild animals. In Wuerthner’s experience, however, most Yellowstone tourists don’t behave as if they’re aware of that fact.

I hope that this becomes a teaching lesson, because those beasts are unstoppable and can stomp you to death.

These morons think that Yellowstone is a fucking petting zoo. People get stomped and gored at least a few times a year... Every fucking year. Yet they never learn.

As a young man I used to make extra money sometimes, on neighboring ranches, helping the owners work their cattle. We gave the cattle shots, worm medicine and sprayed them to keep away mosquitos and flies. No matter how tame the herd was, in general, there was always at least one "high headed" cow that would try to kill you every chance it got. Wild "cattle" like buffalo should never be trusted, not even a little bit...

Yeah, I have done very similar when younger and damn man. When a cow decides they don't like you.. That's not ever changing. Some of those bastards have very long memories (if they are breeding stock). I had to deal with one of the bulls that wanted to kill me every time it saw me. I never did anything to it other than feed the damn thing but it was out for blood (it was one of the black bulls though so there is that...).
