I want to take this oppertunity to remind you that "Wyoming is full". Exceptions can be made for non-liberal White people that work hard... just not too many. Also, The weather sucks in most of the state and the locals kind of like it that way.

I would be real hard pressed to take average blood bank blood these days. I hope I only need enough that my kids can save my ass if I needed it. Banking your own blood is a great idea.

I'll be moving that direction once my kids are grown and on their own. Not sure where, but definitely somewhere where it's easy to not know anybody.
I'd love to see more of this. Putting people's lives back in their own hands a bit.

When I had surgery (in rural Georgia), I asked if I could donate blood for myself just in case. They could do what they wanted with it after but I wanted my own blood in an emergency. The doctor thought I was insane. I didn't want to get into it with him and my mother, who was with me said there would be no convincing any of them at the hospital anyway.
