Stay on the paths you fucking morons. You WILL likely die if you do not and it will hurt the entire time.

From the post:

>A 60-year-old Yellowstone National Park tourist from New Hampshire suffered second- and third-degree burns Monday after walking off-trail over a geothermal crust, the park reports. Visiting from Windsor, New Hampshire, the woman — who was not identified — her husband and leashed dog were walking in a thermal area near Mallard Lake Trailhead at the Old Faithful site, according to a YNP statement dispatched Wednesday. The woman broke through a thin crust over scalding water and suffered burns to her leg. Her husband and dog were not hurt, the statement says.

Tourons... Not supposed to have pets out there either.

I found it kind of ironic that humans are supposed to stick to the designated trails and are prohibited from defacing, littering or otherwise implanting the thermal features - yet they've got boatloads of bison lumbering through them, crushing features and literally shitting everywhere in sight. However they do seem to have an innate sense of when the soil and crusts won't support them and avoid those areas. They are definitely smarter than Tourons in that regard...

Yeah, it is kind of funny but technically the bison are "natural". For some reason they seem to think that Humans are not just other animals running around on the planet for at least tens if not hundreds of thousands of years.

It is ironic that the "animals" are smart enough to stay the fuck away though. Some moron died in one of the large pools a few years back. They could not try to recover the body until the next day. Well, the chemical makeup of the pool and the heat completely dissolved his body by the next day...
